Film director, photographer, multimedia artist, and performer Ivan Ryaskov. He was born in Kazakhstan, and has traveled for more than half of his life, exploring the regions of Central and Southeast Asia. “Over time, I began to feel and understand that the cultural traditions and history of our nomadic people are closer to me than anything else.”

Currently, the artist is working on researching the intangible cultural heritage of the people of Central Asia, and we are excited to see what he has prepared for the Berlin Bishkek Artweeks.
